About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at the 9th Medical Group in Beale Air Force Base, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Review patient’s medical and dental history for evidence of past and present conditions.
- →Prepare for dental hygiene treatment and preliminary dental examinations.
- →Interpret routine x-rays to identify tooth structures, calculus, and abnormalities.
- →Maintain patients’ record of treatment.
- →Perform postoperative care and provides oral hygiene instruction to patients.
- →Provide dental hygiene training to other dental service personnel.
- →Perform specialized oral prophylaxes and preventative dental hygiene procedures.
