About the Role

This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

What You'll Do

  • Majority of assignments are performed independently with technical assistance from the CYS Coordinator when required.
  • Serves as a member of the Installation Child and Youth Evaluation Team to ensure compliance with health, fire, safety, facility and program regulatory requirements and CYS baseline standards.
  • Recruits and hires qualified personnel utilizing Army CYS Standard Position Descriptions.
  • Supervises and evaluates employees based on established performance standards.
  • Develops program budget and provides to CYS Coordinator for CYS budget.
  • Manages program to budget.
  • Conducts written analyses of budget variances.
  • Establishes and maintains an active program of parental involvement, providing parent education opportunities and encouraging parent observation and participation.

  • Note: Education must be directly related to the position to be filled.
  • General Education courses do not count toward the credit total.
