What You'll Do
- →Under the general direction of the Warden, works with the Associate Warden(s) and department heads in developing plans, policies and programs for institution management.
- →Monitors and evaluates institution programs in terms of achievement of overall objectives.
- →Generates a variety of institutional reports, positions, papers, responses to congressional inquiries and general correspondence for the Warden.
- →Works with department heads to broaden ability to deal with institutional problems relating to financial management, manpower and plant resources.
- →Serves as Public Information Officer for the institution.
- →Represents the institution in dealing with community agencies and resources.
- →Coordinates meetings and conferences involving agency personnel, governmental executives, and the judiciary.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
