About the Position: This a Construction Control Representative position with the Fort Stewart Directorate of Public Works.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as Construction Control Representative with project lead and Contracting Officer Representative responsibilities for job site construction control of contract work.
- →Performs preliminary design analysis and initial cost estimates as required to determine the desirability of changes or proposed solutions.
- →Inspects specialized mechanical, electrical and architectural phases of work to provide quality assurance.
- →Recommend changes in designs, specifications, and schedules to accommodate conditions at construction site or to expedite construction.
- →Formulates and presents findings, briefings, project papers, status reports, and correspondence to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
- →Provides on-the-job training/ advisory to lower-grade employees in various procedures and technical aspects.
- →Interprets contracts to determine if construction meets contract requirements.
