About the Position: Serves as a senior Construction Control Representative with the Dam Safety Construction Area Office located in Corona, California. Recruitment incentives, including student loan repayment, may be offered to highly qualified candidates.
What You'll Do
- →This position is developmental to the full performance GS-11 grade.
- →At the full performance grade, the employee will: Support one or more of the following program areas: Civil Works, Military, Hazardous, Toxic and/or Radioactive Waste (HTRW), Environmental, and Interagency- International Support, and/or emergency or disaster operations support.
- →Perform Biddability, Constructability, Operability, and/or Environmental (BCO/BCOE) reviews of plans and specifications.
- →Review contractor's proposed work schedules for logic, adequacy, and feasibility and determines if schedules will be met.
- →Monitor contractor’s quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) systems.
- →Gather field data to negotiate contract modifications and claims.
- →Compile data and prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, and documents throughout the contract and construction period.
- →Attend safety meetings conducted by the Resident Engineer and/or contractor's representatives.
