This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as project representative in charge of one or more construction projects in a geographic area. Security Clearance and Drug Test Requirements differs for each duty location, see additional Information.
What You'll Do
- →Manage the contractor’s sequencing and phasing of complex, multi-phase construction projects to minimize disruptions to customer operations, ensure project milestones are achieved, and track and document all delays.
- →Participate in the three-phase inspection process by conducting preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections to verify compliance with contract requirements, plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- →Provide on-site construction surveillance to ensure the contractor performs quality control and completes work in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
- →Prepare daily reports, status updates, and other documentation to keep stakeholders and contractors informed of construction progress and project status.
- →Coordinate with contractor representatives to interpret contract plans, specifications, and technical requirements.
- →Review and discuss construction schedules, plans of operation, safety programs, shop drawings, project progress, and quality control reports to ensure the contractor fully understands and complies with contract requirements.
