This position is assigned to the Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Marketing and Communications Branch; Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services, Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC); Millington, TN. Incumbent is assigned to CNIC Headquarters (HQ) responsible for the total Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising Sales Program for CNIC's Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) organization.

- →Maintains accounting/record keeping, evaluates events and initiates follow-up communication with sponsors.
- →Develops proposal packages, negotiates best terms for CNIC FFR, initiates contracts, ensures necessary legal reviews are completed, and obtains required signatures.
- →Ensures the contractual "quid pro quo" is fulfilled through execution of considerations and completion of evaluation/follow-up reports.
- →Develops training and educational materials on event marketing and commercial sponsorship for Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) departments.
- →Serves as CNIC FFR's expert on sponsorship and advertising regulations, policies, procedures, and/or practices.
- →Provides visibility for CNIC FFR and disseminates information by making presentations to individuals or groups regarding CNIC FFR facilities, services, programs available for commercial sponsorships, and/or ability to prospect to build and maintain sales leads.
- →Establishes and maintains continuous liaison with regional commercial sponsorship managers, recreation program managers, key staff personnel, installations, and/or groups to gather information pertinent to FFR programs, services, and/or events in an effort to solicit sponsorship and participation.
- →Establishes and maintains liaison with existing and potential sponsors and advertising buyers, community businesses, corporate contacts, community service clubs, and/or military support groups to gather information pertinent to soliciting sponsorship and participation.
- →Serves as branch representative on special event planning committees.
- →Conducts special meetings with staff members to ensure deadlines, sponsorship and advertising fulfillment, equipment, materials, and/or departmental commitments are being met for each event.
- →Develops and implements event promotional plans including initiation of graphic work orders, advertising placement, and management of in-kind advertising, development of news releases, and distribution of publicity materials.
- →Prepares Purchase Order and Contract requests in compliance with accounting standards for required purchases.
