- →The United States Space Force (USSF) in Hickam AFB, Hawaii is searching for a Command Lead Engineer for SPACEFOR-INDOPAC (NH-0801-04, GS-14/15 equivalent).

- →US Space Forces Indo-Pacific is looking for a command engineer to lead the way on many fronts in the most exciting theater/mission there is!
- →The Command Lead Engineer will serve as the command's expert and principal advisor to the Component Commander for all engineering, facility management, and military construction (MILCON) and Facility Sustainment and Repair Projects (FSRM).
- →The Lead Engineer is responsible for detailed planning and execution phases of critical infrastructure projects, including development plans and environmental assessments.
- →A primary function is the collection of essential project data and the active coordination of on-site surveys.
- →This groundwork is crucial for creating accurate project designs and ensuring compliance with all applicable standards.
- →The Lead Engineer effectively builds requirements for SFI MILCON Projects and manages SFI contributions to the INDOPACOM Military Construction Pilot Program.
- →The Lead Engineer helps SFI, Space Forces Korea (SFK), and Space Forces Japan (SFJ) to seamlessly integrate various phases of complex projects, from conception to completion.
- →This requires proactively identifying potential and actual issues, then collaborating with stakeholders to find effective resolution.
- →The Lead Engineer serves as the subject matter expert in a wide array of forums, including technical review meetings, planning workshops, and stakeholder conferences.
- →Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate has proven leadership skills and a strong background in facility engineering design principles to include military construction, infrastructure development, and project management.
- →They have a firm understanding of the Department of the Air Force Installation and Mission Support enterprise and Space Force organizational constructs.
- →They understand and can align with USINDOPACOM's strategic objectives and operational requirements to seamlessly integrate with J4 led working groups.
