About the Role
About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at the Presidio of Monterey U.S. Army Health Clinic in Monterey, California. A Relocation OR Recruitment incentive MAY be authorized. Advanced In-Hire Salary negotiation MAY be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Oversee the performance of laboratory procedures by junior laboratory personnel.
- →Perform high complexity laboratory testing offered at the facility to include urinalysis, hematology, serology, and microbiology.
- →Ensure medical supplies are ordered and equipment is well maintained to continue the section's operational capabilities and productivity.
- →Oversee quality assurance plan and procedures to ensure optimal functioning.
- →Conduct laboratory instrument calibration, maintenance and validation on a recurring basis.
- →Provide administrative and technical guidance to subordinate clinical laboratory personnel.
