About the Position: This position is located at the 59th Medical Wing - Joint Base San Antonio - Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center; Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide advance technical proficiency and full responsibility for the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
- →Perform specimen collection and laboratory testing according to laboratory manning needs and requirements.
- →Establish and oversee a robust program for troubleshooting, maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and equipment used by the laboratory to perform testing.
- →Read, review and update technical operating instructions when required.
- →Develop, or approve procedures to be followed when testing controls are outside acceptable limits.
- →Provide advisory services to MTF staff on clinical laboratory technical procedures and processes.
- →Represent the organization with a variety of instillation and functional area organizations.
