About the Role
This position is located at Defense Finance and Accounting Service- Texarkana, Texas. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
What You'll Do
- →On a computer-based system, establishes and maintains individual time, leave, and earnings records of approximately 3000 salaried and hourly non-appropriated fund employees, civilian and military plus seasonal hires Examines and verifies all pay action documents for accuracy, authority, completeness and conformance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- →Computations involve determination of pay due for differing pay schedules, entitlements, shiftwork, overtime, holiday pay, premium gratuities and their effect on other items in the account.
- →Balances output reports to appropriate source documents on a pay period, quarterly, and annual basis.
- →Input payroll data from a variety of source documents into a computerized payroll system, which requires a knowledge of a variety of coding structures to process the various pay interrelationships involved.
