The Coatesville VA Medical Center is seeking applications for an experienced Chiropractor to provide examination, diagnosis, treatment, and management of non-operative musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. The Chiropractor is a licensed independent provider who works as part of an interdisciplinary VA team, collaborating with Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Primary Care, Pain Management, and other relevant medical and surgical specialties, as well as associated health disciplines.
What You'll Do
- →VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
- →Duties and Responsibilities of the Chiropractor include, but are not limited to: Performs patient examination/diagnosis/triage/management for a broad spectrum of non-operative musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, including highly complex cases.
- →Provides treatment procedures including patient education/exercise/active care; manual procedures consistent with chiropractic care as commonly contained in the core curriculum of Council on Chiropractic Education-accredited chiropractic colleges; other evidence-based services consistent with individual training and licensure, and facility needs.
- →Uses scientific evidence and methods to investigate, evaluate, and improve patient care.
- →Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills that enable them to establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and other members of the health care team.
- →Demonstrates behaviors that reflect a commitment to continuous professional development, ethical practice, and understanding and sensitivity to diversity, and a responsible attitude toward their patients, their profession.
- →Demonstrates both an understanding of the contexts and systems in which health care is provided, and the ability to apply this knowledge to improve optimizing health care.
- →Shows effectiveness in teaching, monitor and coordinate educational activities, and comply with necessary trainee supervision.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Telework: Not Available Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements

- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
