What You'll Do
- →JOB TITLE: Child and Youth Program Assistant BUSINESS TITLE: Educational Aid JOB SERIES: 1702 PAY LEVEL: CY-I/II (GSE2/3/4) Introduction.
- →Provides developmental care and instruction for children and youth (6 weeks-18 years) in CYP settings.
- →Supports safe environments, age-appropriate activities, and inclusive care.
- →Serves as a mandated reporter.
- →GSE-02 (Entry Level - CY-I) Provides basic developmental care and instruction for children and youth ages 6 weeks to 18 years in CYP settings.
- →Duties are introductory and designed to build skills for advancement.
- →Supports planned activities and routines under close guidance.
- →Serves as a mandated reporter for suspected child abuse or neglect.
- →Assists with daily schedules, activities, and maintaining safe learning environments.
- →Helps with play materials, routines, supervision, and meals/snacks.
- →Supports children's developmental needs and positive interactions.
- →Cares for children with special needs following medical and individualized instructions.
- →Follows safety, health, and program regulations.
- →Meets training requirements and maintains CPR/First Aid.
