You will serve as a Budget Technician with National Park Service.
What You'll Do
- →Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Provide technical assistance to others in performing tasks assosciated with executing current year operating programs.
- →Maintain and update programs in automated systems.
- →Reconciling account activity with financial reports.
- →Research financial problems, incorrect accounts, erroneous payments, object class errors, and late payments.
- →Perform duties of limited scope and complexity in all aspects of budget/revenue activities.
- →Receives formal and on-the-job instruction and training designed to famiiarize the employee with functions and operation of the organization, and to provide experience in the practical application of laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures involved in budget work.
- →Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- ✓Direct Deposit participation required.

- ✓You are required to complete training, obtain and maintain a government credit card with travel and purchase authority.
- ✓You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 2-3 nights per month on an occasional basis for training.

- ✓You may be required to work on-call, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- ✓As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 1-year probationary period to evaluate your fitness and whether your continuation of employment advances the public interest.
