About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as NORAD and USNORTHCOM fiscal manager to include all Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) functions as well as program and budget formulation, justification, and analysis as it relates to the conduct of the commands missions. Provides oversight and management of commands programs and budgets for the assigned commands, components, directorates and subordinate commands.
What You'll Do
- →Independently manages complex program and budget functions and operations for NORAD and USNORTHCOM assigned programs.
- →Responsible for conducting research, analysis and development of courses of action for program and budget formulation, justification and execution issues.
- →Serves as a NORAD and USNORTHCOM J8 liaison with other Directorates, Subordinate Commands and Components in evaluating and analyzing Commands program and budget submission, justification and execution practices.
- →Plans, coordinates and develops the NORAD and USNORTHCOM Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Program Budget Review (PBR) positions.
- →Develops detailed programming justification in preparing the final POM submission, fully documenting NORAD and USNORTHCOM requirements.
- →Develops, prepares and presents briefings, correspondence, position papers for all levels of command management and leadership while complying with security directives regarding dissemination and security of classified information.
