What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for assisting in managing the budget for the United States Attorney's Office, District of New Jersey.
- →Typical work assignments will include: Implementing and administering a variety of budget and financial management activities for the district.
- →Administering a comprehensive financial management program, under the direction of the Budget Officer, which includes long-range programmatic plans and the annual budget as key components.
- →Advising the District's management team on programmatic effectiveness relative to planned financial objectives.
- →Preparing recommendations for achieving cost reductions.
- →Ensuring that all obligations, expenditures, unobligated orders and available balances are properly maintained, supported, and documented.
- →As required, preparing financial documentation for audits conducted by EOUSA, DOJ, GAO, 0MB and independent auditors.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
Requirements
- ✓All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education.

- ✓It is your responsibility to timely provide such evidence by submitting proof of creditability of education as evaluated by a credentialing agency with your application materials.
