You will serve as a Biological Science Technician (Wildlife) in the Division of Integrated Resources Management Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work for approximately 11.5 months, and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year.
What You'll Do
- →The incumbent will respond to, assist with, and consult on additional wildlife or other park projects and issues as assigned.
- →Aspects of the position require collaboration with staff from other divisions within the Seashore, park partners, park permitees, and researchers.
- →Summarizing results, writing annual reports, producing outreach material, and giving presentations at the park are integral aspects of the position.
- →Safe, competent, and accurate use of firearms is required.
Requirements
- ✓Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
