About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, located at Tripler Army Medical Center, Directorate of Education, Training & Research, Department of Clinical Investigation, Research Pharmacy, Honolulu, Hawaii. What You'll Do
- →Obtain, process and inventory all specimens from research subjects, in vitro cell models and animal models.
- →Ensure all data is accurately identified for computer accessing of research subject assay results and properly categorized experimental groups, research subjects assay results.
- →Perform hormone ELISA and blood chemistry assays, biochemical and molecular biological assays, quantitative real-time PCR, flow cytometry, and genome sequencing and supervise the proper storage and processing of all specimen.
- →Responsible for performing special assays, processing human and animal specimens for generating publishable validated data to contribute to scientific peer-reviewed journals and training of GME residents.
- →Maintain clear and accurate laboratory records and report abnormal lab results to professional investigators for interpretation and comparison of results in scientific articles.
