The Billing Technician position can be located in either Sacaton, AZ, or Wadsworth, NV. The primary purpose of the position is to perform financial and billing support duties, including the review, reconciliation, and processing of third-party claims and accounts receivable, to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Reviews third-party claims and billing documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with payer and federal regulations.
- →Monitors claim status through electronic billing systems, tracks denials, and initiates rebills or appeals as needed.
- →Maintains detailed ledgers, logs, and reports for accounts receivable and collections.
- →Reconciles daily receipts, deposits, and claim postings to ensure transactions balance across multiple financial systems.
- →Ensures all payments, denials, write-offs, and adjustments are appropriately documented and coded.
- →Responds to patient, provider, and third-party payer inquiries regarding billing status or discrepancies.
- →Provides explanations of billing procedures and required documentation.
Requirements

- ✓Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children.
