About the Role
This position is located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
What You'll Do
- →Assist in child and youth team sports, age-appropriate fitness and health initiatives, skill-building clinics, and community outreach.
- →Assist in managing an active program of volunteer coaches and coach certification.
- →Assist in the planning and implementation that promotes positive growth and development of children and youth.
- →Assist with providing program oversight and accountability for the performance of staff and safety of program participants.
- →Ensure programs follow the National Standards for Youth Sports (NAYS).
- →Trains and monitors coaches in accordance with National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA) guidelines.
- →Supervises volunteers as required.
- →Assist supervisor in developing and managing budget and procurement of supplies and equipment.
- →Collect and maintain up-to-date statistical data for planning and reports.
- →Ensure compliance with requirements and Child and Youth Service (CYS) standards.
- →Perform a full range of supervisory functions to staff and assist in recruitment and selection actions.
- →Prepare reports, surveys, and briefings for the command and installation on matters pertaining to CYS.
