The Executive Office for United States Attorneys, Human Resources Staff manages human resource policies and programs across 94 U.S. Attorneys' offices. HR provides technical oversight of delegated personnel authorities, operating personnel services, and pre-employment security screening across all U.S. Attorneys' offices. They develop and enforce HR policies, oversee delegated personnel authorities, administer distinct pay systems for Assistant U.S. Attorneys and support staff.
What You'll Do
- →This position serves as the Assistant Director, Human Resources Operations for the Executive office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA).
- →This is a Supervisory HR position that provides expert leadership, mentorship, and guidance within the following areas of Federal Human Resources: Recruitment and Placement, Position Classification, Pay and Compensation, Employee Management Relations, Human Resources Management Information Systems, and Personnel and Payroll Processing.
- →Typical assignments will include: Provide leadership to HR Supervisors and subordinate HR Specialists providing advisory and oversight services related to human resources operations including Staffing, Position Classification, Information Systems, Payroll, and Employee Management.
- →Provide technical oversight of a wide variety of human resources, delegated examining, and payroll operational support to USAOs.
- →Oversee management advisory services to Servicing Personnel Offices on complex and controversial human resources actions as well as those for which delegated authority is retained by the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, including direct personnel services to United States Attorneys.
- →Plan the work to be accomplished, setting goals and priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work.
- →Provide technical authority to resolve complex human resources operations problems.
- →Ensure training and education is provided to supervisors as well as HR staff on human resources operation programs.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
