About the Role
The position is located in the Office of Behavioral Interventions (OBI), Assessment, Evaluation and Placement Unit (AEPU). The AEPU manages the selection and administration of all screeners, assessments, and evaluations required to identify offender criminogenic risk and needs and stabilization needs and place offenders in the appropriate cognitive behavioral interventions and other internal and/or external intervention service.
What You'll Do
- →The incumbent will conduct a full range of assessments for offenders/defendants and develop integrated case plans based on assessment results to identify appropriate intervention services.
- →They will perform case management services utilizing social service program resources, develop and monitor treatment plans, set goals, assess client progress, and create reports on offenders' program performance.
- →As an active member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings, the incumbent will provide rationale, explanations, and recommendations.
- →They will work closely with Community Supervision Officers to develop and submit referrals for treatment services and make recommendations to the primary Community Supervision Officer and Supervision Team regarding offenders' status and progress.
- →The incumbent will compile weekly statistics on assessment recommendations and outcomes, maintain clinical files according to CSOSA and national quality assurance standards, and assist in case management within their area of responsibility.
- →They will handle all aspects of case management, maintain expert knowledge of screeners, assessments, evaluations, and intervention services, and accurately administer these tools with fidelity.
- →Additionally, they will uphold expert knowledge of evidence-based practices in community corrections, including risk-needs-responsivity principles, and apply these principles in their work with the Assessment, Evaluation and Placement Unit (AEPU).

- ✓If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
