About the Position: This position serves as the architectural expert responsible for providing technical support throughout the continuity of projects, from pre-design to construction completion, with significant scope and complexity. This position is with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District with a duty station of Annapolis Junction, MD.
What You'll Do
- →Review architectural design features of proposed works (e.g., design instructions, planning documents).
- →Provide authoritative advice and guidance on designs to internal staff and external agencies.
- →Confer with engineers and architects to resolve conflicts or delays to the timely completion of work.
- →Evaluate and resolve design problems through discussions with engineering and architect representatives.
- →Identify problems, determine the accuracy and relevance of information, and make recommendations for solutions.
- →Prepare and oversee the development of detailed internal government estimates for design services.
