Information about the locations and the surrounding area can be found at Susanville, Applegate, and Redding We expect to fill 3 vacancies. This is a temporary appointment. Appointment to this position will not convey permanent status and will be for a period not-to-exceed 1560 hours in a service year.
What You'll Do
- →Participates in cultural resource clearances to identify cultural, historic and/or paleontological resources in areas designated for surface disturbance.
- →Complies and provides preliminary analysis of data obtained during inventories; incorporates findings into various management reports.
- →Research files and records to obtain information about sites scheduled for cultural inventories Monitors work during progress and answers questions from crewmembers.
- →Prepares statements of work for non-complex cultural resource field inventories.
- →Presents findings and recommendations.
- →Monitors contractor performance recommending modification of contract to account for new circumstances.

- ✓Applicants may qualify for these positions based on experience, education, or an equivalent combination as described in the Qualifications section of this announcement.
