You will serve as a AIRCRAFT MECHANIC in the Maintenance Division of NAS WHIDBEY ISLAND SRCH/RESCUE.
What You'll Do
- →You will repair and or replace damaged metal, fiberglass, and fabric surfaces.
- →You will plan for and modify basic structures to accommodate required design changes.
- →You will remove, repair, and replace parts, accessories and components of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, flight control systems, rotor systems, and heating and ventilations systems.
- →You will make final adjustments and settings such as cable tension, pressure settings, and flight control rod adjustments.
- →You will perform rigging and operational checks prior to releasing aircraft to quality assurance for final inspection.
