About the Role
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for an AIRCRAFT MECHANIC, Position Description Number D1366000 / D1525000 and is part of the WY 153d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.
Requirements
- ✓KEY REQUIREMENTS: Open to current or prior service active duty, reserve or national guard members of one of the branches of the US Air Force, Army, Navy, or Marines.
- ✓Military members: Submit vMPF Rip, DVR, STP, ERS, MBS, or PDR with resume.
- ✓Prior service members: Submit a DD Form 214.
- ✓Must become a military member of the Wyoming Air Nat'l Guard before appt.

- ✓May be required to successfully complete a two-year trial period.
- ✓Federal employment suitability is determined by a background investigation.
- ✓Recruitment/Relocation Incentive MAY BE authorized, if eligible.
- ✓Subject to funding and TAG approval.
- ✓PCS costs are not authorized.
- ✓Must be willing to relocate at own expense if selected.
- ✓EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
- ✓Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses.
- ✓Acceptance of a Technician position will terminate these military incentives.
