About the Role

As an Increment Manager with the Mission Integration and Operations Office, you will be responsible for providing leadership within the International Space Station (ISS) Program for the integration/execution of complex planning, prioritization, and impact assessment activities that drive the establishment and implementation of ISS Program requirements both at the Increment-specific and overall ISS Program level.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and integration of Space Station programmatic and Increment requirements and priorities for the pre-increment and real-time phases, including active requirements management in the Current Stage Requirements Document (CSRD).
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of support engineers who coordinate integrated mission level plans for cargo, utilization, payloads, imagery, consumables resupply, systems maintenance, EVA and overall crew time usage.
  • Maintains situational awareness of Program objectives/priorities, past and planned International Space Station (ISS) operations, and on-orbit vehicle/system configuration to enhance increment and ISS Program management.
  • Leads designated multi-disciplinary teams as required to address emerging issues and concerns within the ISS program.
  • Coordinates and integrates international partner participation in Mission Integration and Operations activities of the ISS Program and the assigned increment.
  • Establishes the Certification of Flight Readiness (CoFR) scope and guidelines for flights and stages within the Increment and coordinates across all stakeholders to ensure a proper and cohesive review.
  • Leads the Increment Management Team (IMT) in planning and coordinating the execution of assigned increment and leads Increment Management Center (IMC) real-time mission support for activities within the Increment.
  • Leads Increment Management process development, execution, and documentation.

Requirements

  • If you did not complete a qualifying bachelor's degree, you may be eligible if you have obtained a graduate degree in an AST qualifying field, as listed above.
  • Degrees in engineering technology are not considered qualifying for this position.
