About the Position: This position is located at WINN Army Hospital, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide supervision and medical oversight to the MTF Forensic Healthcare Program as the Forensic Healthcare Program Director/Manager (FHP-D/M) and the primary Medical Forensic Healthcare Program Follow –up Provider (FHP-F).
- →Conduct sexual assault medical forensic examinations and targeted forensic healthcare examinations for patients suffering injuries from other types of violence to include interpersonal violence, domestic violence and child physical or sexual abuse.
- →Development, implementation, and oversight of the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Forensic Healthcare Program (FHP) program to improve the quality of care delivered to specific patient population through direct and indirect patient care.
- →Determine the optimal trauma-informed and patient-specific medical and forensic healthcare for patients with a disclosure of sexual assault and/or other physical violence.
- →Implement policy, oversee operations, education and training and collect required data for the MTF regarding the medical care of patients who have been victims of sexual assault/abuse, intimate partner violence or child sexual or physical abuse.
- →Conduct quality and process improvement initiatives, including peer/chart reviews, individual case reviews, after action reviews, identification of trends, reporting corrective actions, and recommending changes in policies, procedures, and protocols.
