About the Role
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT MANAGER) in the WARFIGHTER DEFENSE/SYSTEMS INTEGRATION DEPT (W), EOD SYSTEMS DIVISION (W3), UNMANNED SYSYTEMS BRANCH (W33) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. The salary range shown represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13, Step 10; currently $158,322.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for managing and coordinating logistics activities from conceptualization through documentation and ultimately execution throughout the lifecycle of DoD programs of record.
- →You will ensure the successful acquisition, deployment, and sustainment of military systems.
- →You will serve as the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Unmanned Systems logistics support for EOD to include directing the completion of logistics work within the team.
- →You will collaborate with stakeholders to define logistics requirements, including transportation, maintenance, supply chain, and sustainment.
- →You will develop comprehensive logistics plans that cover acquisition, deployment, and operational phases.
- →You will establish maintenance and sustainment strategies to maximize system availability and reliability.
- →You will plan for system modifications, upgrades, and eventual disposal.
- →You will monitor equipment performance, assess maintenance needs, and coordinate repairs.
- →You will leverage digital models to optimize maintenance, supply chain, and readiness while using data-driven insights to allocate resources effectively.
