What You'll Do
- →NON-APPROPRIATED FUNDS POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant JOB SERIES: 0303 PAY LEVEL: NF-02 INTRODUCTION: This position is located in the Family Care Branch, Children, Youth and Teen Program, MCCS Camp S.D.
- →Butler, Okinawa, Japan.
- →The primary function of this position is to provide administrative and clerical support to the assigned Child, Youth and Teen activity.
- →This position reports directly to the Program Director.
- →DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as a central source of information to visitors and patrons regarding programs and services offered by the Family Care Branch.
- →Answers telephones, greets walk-in customers, and responds to non-technical inquiries pertaining to Child, Youth and Teen Program operations, activities, programs and services.
- →Assists higher-level staff in coordinating appointments and arranging meetings.
- →Types a variety of correspondence including letters, messages, memorandums, work requests and reports, etc.
- →Performs other general clerical tasks as follows: Maintains a current filing system of all Child, Youth and Teen activity personnel and office files; and utilizes office machines such as a typewriter, copy machine, personal computer and calculator.
- →Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
- →Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.
- →Takes action to solve problems quickly.
- →Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
- →Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
