What You'll Do
- →This position is located in the UNICOR Furniture Factory at a federal correctional facility.
- →UNICOR is a government corporation which employs inmates in manufacturing and producing a variety of goods and services for sale to other government agencies.
- →A primary purpose of this position is to train and supervise inmates in the manufacturing of plastic laminate and wood furniture and other products of various styles and designs.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and is performed on a regular and recurring basis.
