About the Role
About the Position: Incumbent will safely operate specified tools and welding equipment to produce dimensionally correct parts/products based on written or oral instructions, blueprints, sketches, and work orders.
What You'll Do
- →Manufacture or repair common metal parts assemblies or components of electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, or other equipment, containers, structures, or facilities.
- →Select proper tools, welding materials, heat range, feed for a variety of metals and thickness to provide proper weldments, penetration, and fusion.
- →Safely operate various types of welding equipment.
- →Prepare area to be welded by cleaning, fitting, chipping, grinding, cutting, slag removal, and grinds welds when required.
