The primary purpose of this position is to perform one of a kind prototype, experimental, and routine metal welding work involved in manufacture, repair, modification, and assembly of various types of metal and alloy jet engine components. Uses automated and manual welding machines to accomplish workloads.
What You'll Do
- →Duty 1: Plans and lays out work and recommends changes to materials and procedures from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications and work orders by primarily using automated welding machines and manual machines.
- →Duty 2: Sets up and operates and troubleshoots a variety of automated and manual machines.
- →Duty 3: Uses and maintains tools.
- →Duty 4: Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
