You will serve as a WEIGHT HANDLING EQUIPMENT (WHE) INSPECTOR in the INSPECTION BRANCH OF THE LIFTING AND HANDLING DEPARTMENT-CODE 721 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
What You'll Do
- →You will inspect and troubleshoot electrical power distribution and electronic digital information components during removal, repair, alteration, overhaul, installation and alignment.
- →You will be required to participate on project teams (without direct supervision) and assume increased responsibilities relating to developing project work packages, planning and scheduling of work, and leading inspection related tasks.
- →You will provide assistance during Regional Navy Crane Center (NCC) audits and issue specific support requests/investigative reports, etc., per governing requirements.
- →You will perform Load Test Director functions for Category 3 WHE or No-Load for Category 2 WHE by directing the inspection and operational actions of a team for final testing and certification.
- →You will perform inspection and test functions on mechanical, structural, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical/mechanical and components and systems.

- →You will ensure that needed plans, blueprints, material, tools and test equipment are available.
- →You will review and correctly interpret engineering drawings and specifications, manufacturer's literature and maintenance procedures.
