The primary purpose of this position is to lead three or more workers to accomplish trades and/or labor work on a substantially full time and continuing basis. Leader is responsible to both perform the work assigned by a supervisor and ensures that subordinates completed assigned work consistent with trades and labor standards.
What You'll Do
- →Leads a team of trades and/or labor workers.
- →Performs work.
- →Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- →Installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains a variety of new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment such as sewer, water, oil, and gas distribution systems, and water closets, tubs, backflow prevention devices/assemblies, fire sprinkler systems, and showers.
- →Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, sewage, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
- →Uses testing equipment, take water samples, and adjusts small water systems to make water safe for distribution and consumption.
- →Performs all phases of liquid fuels and water systems component maintenance including inspection, tests, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and system modifications.
