This position will be filled on the Sequoia National Forest with a duty station of Kernville, California. This position is responsible for the front desk operations which include the sale of passes and permits, oversight and collection of monies from visitors. What You'll Do
- →Supervises 20% or less of assigned duties.
- →Duties described are at the target grade, GS-06.
- →Responsible for inventory and control of various merchandise that is located in the visitor center.
- →Troubleshoots and resolves any problems associated with the visitor centers, personnel, equipment, or sales.
- →Coordinates and directs the daily operations for information centers including the handling of daily receipts, sales, and personnel.
- →Ensures the visitor centers are maintained in accordance with established standards.
- →Manages multiple visitor information centers and plans, organizes and completes recreation information to be responsive to the public needs for all sites.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- ✓Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.
