About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Transportation Systems and Readiness Specialist in the in the Movement Program Section, International Movements Branch, G3.
What You'll Do
- →Validate system requirements and engages with user community to ensure proper prioritization of requirements.
- →Study and recommend changes in practices and procedures within the Section in the interest of timeliness and efficiency.
- →Maintain liaison with a wide range of organizations to support customer requirements for inter-modal surface transportation services.
- →Conduct frequent staff assistance visits with customers and service providers and hosts conferences, workshops and meetings to address operational/systemic issues and develop improvement programs and initiatives.
- →Technical advisor for Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) sections pertaining to SDDC transportation systems, ensuring data table updates as required
