THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TRAINING OFFICER (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD2230000 and is part of the TN ARMY National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization.
What You'll Do
- →As a TRAINING OFFICER, GS-1702-11, you will formulate, oversee and evaluate overall training programs with a primary focus on joint Domestic Operations (DOMOPS) and joint/interagency exercises.
- →Develop and prepare annual operational and training budget requirements to support the exercise life-cycle and the Joint Operations Center.
- →Evaluate organizational readiness reports and makes recommendations for improvement/modification to organizational training programs.
- →Develop, review and adjust command level deployment and contingency operation plans, primarily focusing on command level exercise plans, while assisting with CONUS mobilization plans and emergency contingency operations.
- →Direct scheduling and coordination for the use of training sites and facilities for multi-agency/interagency exercise and training events.
- →Develop and implement Risk Management plans and programs for the command.
- →Plan, organize and assign work to employees engaged in training, security and readiness at the command level.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
