This vacancy is for a GS-1701-9, Training and Curriculum Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, TRACEN CAPE MAY COMPTROLLER BRANCH in CAPE MAY, New Jersey.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Training and Curriculum Specialist for the Child Development Services (CDS) program, providing training, curriculum support, and technical assistance to Child Development Center (CDC) employees and Family Child Care (FCC) providers.
- →Your work will support quality child care programs, employee development, and the implementation of developmentally appropriate practices for children and youth.
- →Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
- →Providing training, guidance, and technical assistance to employees and providers regarding developmentally appropriate activities and practices that support the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development of children and youth.
- →Maintaining and evaluating employee and provider training records, monitoring completion of required training, and preparing training status reports and recommendations for management.
- →Providing information, assistance, and guidance regarding professional development, credentialing, continuing education, and accreditation requirements for employees, providers, and applicable child and youth programs.
