What You'll Do
- →Serving as a Training Admissions Specialist GS-0301-11 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission.
- →This position is within the Training Analysis and Allocations Branch (TRAAB), Training Resources Coordination Division (TRC), Training Management Operations (TMO) Directorate under the Office of the Associate Director for Training Operations and located within Glynco, Georgia.
- →The primary purpose of the position is to actively participate in the planning and coordination of the overall scheduling and allocation process of the center.
- →Typical duties include: Developing the FLETC Training Projection Request Packets which are distributed to client agencies seeking training workload projections for the subsequent fiscal year and five out years.
- →Allocating training slots in Center Basic and Center Advanced training programs to the FLETC agency clientele.
- →Making recommendations to agency training officers on the appropriate training program suited for student's/agency's needs.
- →Analyzing historical data and reviewing information to provide advisory guidance on agency allocations.
- →Utilizing various evaluative and analytical tools and techniques to develop spreadsheets and databases to capture training workload.
- →Initiating and coordinating preparation of confirmation correspondence, transmitting approved allocations and quotas to the appropriate federal agencies training officers.
- →Determining the report dates for pre-registration rosters, notifying agencies when FLETC registration policy has been violated for past due rosters.

Requirements

- ✓Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications; applicant's resumes and supporting documentation should only reflect education received from schools accredited by such institutions.
