We are seeking Trainee and Experienced Soil & Concrete Testing Technicians to join our field teams across South Brisbane, based out of our Kingston Laboratory.

These roles suit people looking to take the next step in their CMT career, as well as those with no prior experience who are keen to build a long-term career pathway in the construction materials testing industry.

The Role Includes

• Laboratory and field testing of soil and concrete samples on construction sites
• Using on-site testing equipment and machinery
• Lifting up to 20kg, Manual handling on a regular basis
• Recording results using tech
• Driving between sites (company ute provided for site-based roles)

These can be physically demanding at times and are hands-on roles suited to people who enjoy working outdoors and in a team environment.

• Traineeship: Trainee Pay Rates: $20 - $28per hour (starting at $20 for trainees aged 18 years, with the pay rate increasing by age and trainee classification, in line with the Award). Junior trainees (under 21) are paid at the applicable Award junior rate, while adult trainees receive $28ph

• Construction experience advantage
• Current driver’s licence (manual preferred)
• White Card preferred
• AUS/NZ Citizens or Permanent Residents
