About the Position: Position is located in the International Sealift Contract Management Branch, International Movement support Division, Operations Directorate, The branch supports the identification, analysis and validation of functional requirements for transportation and logistics information systems.
What You'll Do
- →Lead complex studies and develop guidance for DOD-wide implementation.
- →Analyze compliance to identify areas for improvement.
- →Work independently and is responsible for planning and carrying out the work, resolving conflict, integrating and coordinating the works with other functions and programs.
- →Develops and recommends to the PCO Changes to terms, conditions or rate structures of contracts.
- →Determines the need and practicability of establishing or revising contracts for service in particular areas and over specific trade routes.
- →Assists in the negotiations of transportation rates and services with commercial transportation companies to move DoD cargo.
