About the Role

These positions are located in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR): Office of African Affairs Office of China, Mongolian and Taiwan Affairs Office of Innovation & Intellectual Property Office of Japan, Korea, and APEC Affairs Office of Southeast Asia and the Pacific Office of Small Business, Market Access, and Industrial Competitiveness **Notice: More than one selection may be made within 90 days of the issuance of the certificate, if additional vacancies occur.

What You'll Do

  • As a Trade Policy Research Coordinator, GS-0301-9/11/12, your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision: Coordinates research and analysis on trade and investment issues by reviewing economic and trade data, industry trends, and other relevant information.
  • Analyzes, compiles, and summarizes trade and investment data to support senior leadership and policy development.
  • Prepares briefing materials, reports, Congressional correspondence, testimony and other written products.
  • Coordinates administrative and operational support for the office.

  • GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study.
  • Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis.
  • If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
