You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (CWO) in the Operations Department, Facility Control Division, Administrators Branch of NAVAL COMP TELCOM AREA WESTPAC. Guam is designated as a medically underserved area. Military medical facilities offer space-available primary and limited specialty medical care; however, services are not guaranteed.
What You'll Do
- →You will work with the Defense Information Systems Agency and Navy Command Circuit Actions Office within the Operations Department of U.S.
- →Naval Computer and telecommunications Station, Guam.
- →You will be responsible for the activation, maintenance and restoral of all Defense Information Systems Agency and tactical circuits termination in or traversing the NCTS Guam.
- →You will be responsible for command notification of circuit outages, Force Protection conditions, Defense Conditions, Typhoon and Heavy Weather conditions, natural disasters, and nay instance that work warrant Emergency Destruction.
- →You will ensure the availability and functionality of telecommunications equipment systems.
- →You will program multiplexers, modems, and other ancillary communication equipment, and describe/convey configuration requirements to other technicians with varying degree of competency.
