You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Ammunition Engineering Support Branch (W72) , Conventional Ammunition Division (W7), Warfighter Defense & Systems Integration Department (W) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV located in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $163,062).
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the lead Technician In Charge (TIC) for the Mobile Ammunition Evaluation and Reconditioning Unit (MAERU).
- →You will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating technical activities of a team performing on-site ammunition surveillance and maintenance at overseas locations.
- →You will perform duties such as: scheduling all inspection, renovation, and repackaging functions to ensure an even workflow and implementing measures to guarantee the acceptable quality of reconditioned ammunition.
- →You will serve as the primary point of contact for the team and coordinating with the overseas ammunition storage locations where MAERU performs their surveillance activities.
- →You will submit requests for equipment and materials, provide weekly progress reports to all stakeholders and regular status reporting to key program stakeholders.
- →You will conduct in/out briefs with site command, and ensure the accurate completion of all necessary documentation, such as data cards and material condition tags.
