You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER in the SURFACE WEAPONS & CEC E70, in the SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPT E00 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
What You'll Do
- →You will lead the technical planning, execution, and oversight of all developmental testing activities across the project life cycle.
- →You will apply advanced engineering principles to ensure all systems meet rigorous performance, safety, and operational standards.
- →You will identify technical risks, evaluate test results, and deliver clear data-driven findings to guide leadership decisions.
- →You will provide technical direction and project guidance to multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners.
- →You will manage project budgets, oversee long-range financial planning, and coordinate resource allocation to meet deadlines.
- →You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for external partners and rapidly resolve high-priority requests.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
- ✓OR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

- ✓OR Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above).
- ✓Ordinarily, there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.
