THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD1290000 and is part of the TN ARMY National Guard. All SUPERVISORY positions are subject to a 1 year probationary period.
What You'll Do
- →As a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, WS-5801-10, you will plan use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis.
- →Assign tasks to be performed based on readiness and explain work requirements, methods, and procedures.
- →Plan and establish overall leave schedules.
- →Perform non-supervisory work, such as, transporting equipment, performing maintenance tasks, etc.
- →Develop, publish, and ensure employee compliance with standing operating procedures for the activity supervised.
- →Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
