THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR-TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD1297000 and is part of the KY UTES, National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →As a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR-TITLE 32, WS-5801-15, you will plan overall allocation of personnel and resources for the organization ensuring accomplishment of work operations.
- →Analyze work plans developed by subordinate supervisors for work orders, projects, and the status of work accomplished.
- →Explain work requirements to subordinate supervisors, sets deadlines and sequence of operations.
- →Recommend promotion or reassignment of subordinate supervisors and reviews personnel actions prepared by supervisors.
- →Make formal appraisal of supervisors' work performance and reviews employee appraisals submitted by them.
- →Participate with higher level management officials and staff to study, develop and recommend changes in requirements, work techniques and standards.
- →Determine long-range training needs for all levels of subordinates, submit funding requests, and arranges for the accomplishment of training.
- →Develop, publish, and ensure employee compliance with standing operating procedures for the activity supervised.
- →Implement and comply with agency, state, and Federal regulatory Occupational Safety and Health, and environmental requirements.
- →Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- ✓Military Grades: CW4(W4)-CPT(O3) CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard.
- ✓You must be assigned to a compatible military position.
- ✓Wear of the military uniform.
- ✓Position may require a pre-employment physical.
- ✓May be subject to furlough actions.
- ✓May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
- ✓Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- ✓Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation.
- ✓Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus.
- ✓Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility.
- ✓This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
- ✓An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
- ✓Must attended Supervisor Training: failure to complete Supervisor Training within 12 months of appointment will result in reversion to previous position.
