THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, Position Description Number D1291000 and is part of the PA Combined Support Maintenance Shop East, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement.
What You'll Do
- →As a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC INSPECTOR SUPERVISOR, WS-5801-11, you will plan use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis.
- →Assign tasks to be performed based on readiness and explains work requirements, methods, and procedures.
- →Plan and establish overall leave schedules.
- →Perform the non-supervisory work of the function, as needed, such as performing maintenance and/or inspection tasks on equipment, equipment operations, or other non-supervisory functions.
- →Ensure employee compliance with standing operating procedures established for the activity.
- →Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
