THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, Position Description Number D1296000 and is part of the LOGISTICS, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.
What You'll Do
- →As a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR (WS-5801-14) you will serve as a Full Assistant to a supervisor who has responsibility for providing overall direction and coordination of subordinate work activities and functions.
- →Participates with higher-level management officials in planning and establishing long-range work requirements and schedules.
- →Serves as the highest-level subject matter expert for work accomplished in the organization.
- →Work activities and functions are typically controlled through two or more levels of supervision.
- →The occupation and non-supervisory grade level which best reflects the nature of the overall work operations supervised is Surface Maintenance Mechanic, WG-5801-11.
